Sanitorium lake, and picnic ground

Tucked away past the Days picnic ground is Sanitorium Lake, orginally built to supply water to a Tuberculosis Sanitorium

In the early 1900's, the Sanitorium burned down, however the lake is still here today.

A quiet walk from the carpark takes your through the wonders of Mount Macedon, and an opportunity to walk through the nearby eco-trousim trail, showcasing the amazing plant life within the park.
