Heathcote-Graytown National Park

HEATHCOTE, Victoria

Heathcote-Graytown National Park is a great place for bushwalks. Mt Ida, Mt Black and Viewing Rock provide views of Heathcote and surrounding areas.

The park also has a rich history with relics from the gold rush and war era to discover at Graytown. Melvilles Lookout is a prominent ridge where Captain Melville reputably waited in ambush for miners during the gold rush.

If an overnight stay is more your style, pitch a tent at the Dargile camping and picnic area and wake up to a choir of birds.
